From the Secretary's Desk - February 2010

Hobbie FisherThe beginning of a New Year is a great time to make sure that all your contact information is to date with the office.
Please send any changes of your address, phone numbers and especially your e-mail address.
Mail or e-mail them to my attention.

Thank you so much for paying your 2010 dues.
We have been receiving extra money for the W.D. Myers Party and the Building Fund.
Some of you have not had the opportunity to pay your 2010 dues, please send them in as soon as possible, we need your help to grow this Lodge.
Unfortunately 32 brothers were suspended for non-payment of 2009 dues.
We tried very hard to retain these Brothers.

Activity in the office is up with many petitions coming in.
We now have Future Brothers presently working on all three degrees.

2010 could be a record year for new members and transfers.
Bring a friend to a meeting and introduce them to some of the best men in the world, Winter Park Masons.

Petitions have been received from the following men: Grantland David Klein of Winter Park; Vincent John Venero Jr. of Altamonte Springs; and Jamie Cebollero of Oviedo.

The Treasurer's Report - February 2010

Chet KingMy brothers, as you are each aware the lodge runs on dues.
They pay our electric and other utilities, they pay our insurance, and they pay for building maintenance to mention just a few of the larger expenses we have.

This year's operating budget is near $46,000 dollars, which we have balanced, by including as income, the total dues amount that we generate from our members.
I would love to receive your dues if you have not yet paid, but more important . . . . . I would love to see you come to lodge.
After you have come back for a visit or two, then you can pay your dues.
All I ask is that you not allow them to lapse causing you to lose your membership in the worlds' oldest fraternity.

Fraternally,

Chester A. King, DDGM and Treasurer
