In 1813, the Grand Lodge of Georgia issued a charter to the forth Florida Lodge which was San Fernando Lodge #28. Floridian Virtues Lodge #28 was the fifth Masonic Lodge to be organized in Florida.This Lodge was chartered by the Grand Lodge of South Carolina on August 9, 1820 to meet in St. Augustine.
The Sixth lodge to be chartered in Florida Territory was also chartered by the Grand Lodge of South Carolina. s lodge was a Spanish speaking Lodge, chartered in 1824 as Esperanza Lodge #47.
