Winter Park Lodge No. 239 was chartered January 18, 1917 to meet at Winter Park in Orange County. The three Line Officers at chartering were: Benjamin W. Stone as Worshipful Master, Homer S. Pope as Senior Warden, and John O. Hale as Junior Warden.
Winter Park Lodge was chartered with 36 charter members who were members from 19 Lodges in 12 Grand Jurisdiction.
Ten of them received their degrees in Winter Park, and those from other Florida Lodges were from Orlando No. 69, Seffner No. 114, Lawtey No. 189, and Sumter No. 220.
Winter Park Lodge No. 239 is the only Lodge to use number 239 and is named for the City of Winter Park.
Most Worshipful Brothers George Leon Myers and Harvey Burnell Eddy who served respectively as our Grand Masters in 1974 and 1982 are members of Winter park Lodge No. 239.
