Summer has officially arrived which means this Trestle-board is still sitting in your mailbox because it’s far too hot to go all the way to the curb to retrieve the postman’s delivery. One of the benefits of e-mail is that it is an air-conditioned form of the pony express. Without the saddle sores.  Unless you have a pony as a computer chair. And that would be just weird.

So as I sit atop my saddle today, I think about all the people who have stepped up to help out during the last month at Winter Park Lodge. St. John’s Day, Masters & Wardens, an E.A. degree and more were all a success thanks to people who chipped in to contribute. I would like to thank the members of OES Pioneer Chapter 99 for their help once again with the St. John’s Day breakfast. Our sisters from Eastern Star are an example that we can be very successful when we all work together. Together we can do great things.
